January 2011

Christmas and New Year's celebrations have all come to a close... I had a downright lovely time with family in Michigan and my household in South Bend.

The biggest thing around town now is the weather. (Really? I want to talk about the weather?) Yup! We received 3 feet of snow this weekend (roughly), and the snow remains in the forecast. It's the time of the year where it always feels like a good idea to sit down with some hot drink and watch a movie... But, it is also South Bend, so Anne and I walked through the big field in the shape of "GLORY".

But, this week marks the beginning of the spring semester for Trinity School! Gina and I are migrating from the People of Praise side of the building to the bottom floor of Trinity. Thanks to the servants and friends around Greenlawn, the walls are a lovely blue and the carpet is new, with beautiful baseboards, thanks to the very hard working property department (who, for the record, should also be honored because of all the snow!)

Finished Reading: "A Friendship Like No Other"
Currently Reading: "Brideshead Revisited"
First Game in the Athletics Department? Today! (Go Titans!)
Next Travel Adventure? Justin and Cathy's wedding in Minnesota!
