Origin of the Jesuits

I finished! While I am a firm believer of finishing a book and tend to get extremely excited upon the last chapter of a book because I will soon get to pick a new one, I really loved the end of the Origin of the Jesuits:

"Ignatius died in character, almost alone, without Viaticum or Extreme Unction, and his last coherent words were not of God, but of a prosaic matter of business. Death for such as he to whom God meant everything was just part of the day's work, on the same footing as the purchase of that new house in the Piazza Margana" (p. 293).

This reminds me of "I'm gonna die with my boots on when I die". I love it.
