Lord's Day

Colfax cooks

Well... we did get some great snow here, and there have been some fun snow days in our home. There have been movies, baking, chores, grading, reading, and snowy fun. I'm more than 1/2 way through the book I'm reading (Mrs. Mike) thanks to Anne B. in the branch here who loaned it to me. (Fun Canada wilderness type adventure book... a little different than my usual and enjoying it.)

The Colfax Household cooked Lord's Day this week, and it was intricately planned by Anne V. and Mary Claire. A Mu shu pork recipe from MC's grandma, cream cheese wontons, spring roll salad, and mango bananas foster with ice cream for dessert. It was quite an exquisite meal, but the best part was watching Anne and MC plan and enjoy their time in the kitchen.

The Ellsworth Household did set up, utilizing the ice coming off all our buildings for table decorations, and the Gilbert Household did clean up (thank you!)
