Experiment and Allendale update

Experiment
Well... I wanted to run a slight experiment. I was curious as to who is viewing this blog... would you mind leaving a comment with maybe your first name and where you're from? Just a fun idea I've been mulling over for a while.

Allendale
I did not have a camera with me this weekend! But, in words, it was excellent. We drove for 25 hours for a total of 36 hours in Allendale. Joan received her masters from Louisiana Tech, and we were there to cheer her on. She had no idea a 15 seat passenger van full of people from South Bend and Indy were coming, and the surprise (laughter mostly) made all 25 hours of driving worth it. The Lord is certainly honored by all we do to build the Kindgom of God, and I'm especially honored (and I know the Lord is , too) by how hard Joan has worked over the past 2 years. Glory to God!

Short snippets: porch swing, picnic lunch at LA Tech, appetizer prep, "We have cause to celebrate" to open the party, firepit, and almost 70 degrees. It was an excellent 36 hours. Thanks for having us, Allendale!

  11. OK, so many people read your blog. 'm on the POP list and only a couple people even browse mine. Sometimes people lurk, but never comment. I do that here sometimes. But I have weird stuff on my blog.
