I've officially arrived! The work in Indy has kept us all pleasantly busy. We've had quite a few visitors, and currently have the Allendale HH with us for the weekend, and that's been great fun. Traffic through NoVa isn't nearly as much as in Indy, which is, by the way, "The Crossroads of America."
I've started reading Bruchko to celebrate the end of textbooks for hopefully a long time. One awesome affect of 13 People of Praise members in one household is the bookshelves stocked with books that I'd love to read one after another for the next 11 weeks... Praise God!
The thirteen of us have a break this afternoon after spending the day reading the gospels. Between all 13 of us, we covered all four gospels, though not the whole of each. I have come to the realization that the Lord speaks pretty clearly when you give him enough time of silence. It's been extremely fruitful. From the gospel of Matthew, verses such as 5:14-16, 6:21, 6:25, the healings in chapters 8 & 9, and 10:27 really reminded me of the greatness of doing Missionary Work. God is acting, and it's super exciting.
Well... our delish dinner is being cooked and we sit down soon. Keep us in your prayers!
PS- maybe some house pictures soon...
